Which guitar is right for you.
There are many different guitar makes.
ESP, Jackson, Ibanez, Fender, Gretsch, B.C Rich, Dean, Gibson, and more…
However i own a Dean MLX, and a Fender strat.
If you are new to the guitar world, and are interested in playing, i would HIGHLY reccomend a fender strat, although i have a Dean MLX, i only ever use it for concerts or playing heavy songs, it is un-reliable and would be uncomfortable for most to play, although it is not for me. I have had my fender strat for 5 years now, it is still in perfect condition, plays excellently, is extremely reliable, stays in tune, and is comfy to play + light, in my opinion, the ultimate guitar which is why on my 18th birthday i am going to order a custom strat.
The point i’m trying to get across is don’t buy guitars for their LOOKS, and !!ALWAYS!! try one out at a shop before you buy it. For example my friend recently bought a B.C Rich, ( in MY personal opinion B.C Rich’s are horrible guitars ) it is poorly made, the most ridiculous shape i’ve ever seen, plus it was only £150, now you may wonder why that matters but if the dealer is selling it for £150, they probably bought it from the company for around £120, and companies make money because of their profit, so the parts for that guitar all together probably cost around £80, which is extremely poor, it sounds horrible, and in my opinion, doesn’t sound nice at all.
So if you were thinking about buying a guitar, remember to try it out next time!
