Jimi Hendrix is at top of the list as the best guitarist in history.

Hendrix at the top of the list was compiled by a panel of juries consisting of experts and guitarist for the music. “Jimi Hendrix blew up our ideas about how to play rock music. He manipulated guitar, whammy bar, studio and stage,” said Tom Morello, a guitarist who never won a Grammy Award. Besides Hendrix, the other musicians on the list of top ten best guitarists in history is Eric Clapton, BB King, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page and Pete Townshend. The jury consists of professionals who are asked to choose their favorite guitar players, including musicians such as Lenny Kravitz, Eddie Van Halen, Brian May and Dan Auerbach. The results are then combined with the choice of the writers and senior editor of Rolling Stone. Here are the ten best guitarists version of Rolling Stone magazine:
