Whoever in Australia may really know this famous pop group called Crowded Houses. The drummer of the band, Peter Jones died last Friday and the news is confirmed on their official website.

Crowded House was formed in the capital city of Australia, Melbourne back in 1985. They was one of the famous band in the Oceania land between 1985 to 1996. At that time, the Australian called them crowdies.
The drummer, who was 45 at the time of dead, has suffered brain cancer for years. The band that famous in the mid-80’s with “Don’t Dream It’s Over” was joined by Jones in 1994 after he leave his profession as school teacher.
He was born in Liverpool and stayed with the band till they separated last couple years. The band however reunites without Jones in 2007. Jones was the second drummer, replacing Paul Hester who died in 2005 from a suicide.
After he left the Crowded House, Jones joined the Deadstar band along with Caroline Kennedy and Nick Seymour.
