This is a Short review of the Korg Pa500 Oriental keyboard,
This Keyboard is very special, low price and great sound quality.
Also I added some bonus styles.
First I will review the most important thing (in my opinion) the sound :
I think it all begins with the sound and this keyboard sound quality is breathtaking .
Based on the EDS (Extended Definition Synthesis) enginge (also found in korg pa series keyboards)
the pa500 provides 80 High Quality voices and over 880 preloaded sounds which the user can edit.
The 880 sounds includes Drum Kits and a full GM soundset.
The pa500 ort styles are programmed very well and in high quality.
The pa500ort Includes many oriental sounds and styles and he is a “Special Middle Eastern Edition of the Pa500″
Including a Quarter Tone sub scale , 104 arabic instruments sounds and many oriental styles.
The oriental styles are Wahda, Masmudi, Maksum, Baladi, Ayoub ,Samai 10/8 and Folk Music Styles such as:
Saidi, Katakofti, Nawari, Fallhi, Laf – and many more
I also liked The joystick – the famous Korg Joystick for pitchband and modulation.
I prefer using this Joystick than using wheels.
