What’s Wrong With America #1

Insurance companies thinking they know more than medical doctors…

Apparently while Americans had their heads buried in the sand, insurance company executives got off their lazy, cheap asses and went to medical school…and got medical degrees. Oh, wait a minute. No they didn’t.

So why do insurance companies have the right to tell physicians to have their patients try “other medications and/or courses of treatments?” Are they insinuating doctors don’t know what their doing? Not to say Americans don’t have a hard and fast opinion about insurance companies not knowing what their doing, because we do.

I still find it appalling that insurance companies can actually undermine a doctor’s plan for treatment. Considering their lack of any useful skill and or degree, I don’t think they’re qualified.

If a fat-cat insurance company executive eats himself into a heart-attack does he call his colleague for an appropriate plan for treatment? Or does his wife call 911? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

If you’re sick of insurance companies dominating our ’sick’-care system in America, do something about it.
