Did you spend much money for your car maintainance? Does it worth it? If you think you spare too much than you should, then you have to reconsider the way you maintain the car. Here are some tips you can rely on.

  1. Please make a research to compare the fuel economy of the cars that you want before you buy a car. Choosing a car based on the fuel economy comparison can save your money when you refill the gas many times in the future. Try to find a car with an efficient vehicle.
  2. The first time you buy your car, the car vendor usually offers you the car insurance (most of the well known vendors like Ford or Peugeot do). You’d better have the insurance for you’ll never know what could happen to your car the next second. With the insurance, you’ll save more money if the accident happens to your car and you need to repair.
  3. Regular maintenance is a must. You might think,”Why should I take the car to the service station while the car is still in a good condition?”. Well, even if you don’t ride the car for a long time, the machine could be broken. Mr. Rizal from Benz Service Station said that it also happens to the premium cars such as Mercedes Benz and BMW as well! He agrees that the regular maintenance identifies every single error which is happened to your car. The sooner you know and repair them, the cheaper you’ll expense. Besides, one ignored error could infect another function of yor car.
  4. Never buy the cheap or imitated spareparts. Not only they’ll ruin your car gradually, they’re broken easily. That means you’ll need to buy the spareparts all over again. And please remember, it’s your life to risk for. Avoid the terrifying risk (accident caused by the bad quality spareparts). Always get the official spareparts for your car.
  5. Keep the cabin clean from dust and dirt. Gently wipe the AC’s evaporator regularly. Sounds unimportant, but the small dirt or a little dust could get and accumulate into the air conditioner’s evaporator. They could condensate there and reduce the distribution of the cool breeze. You might think that the problem is in your air conditioner and spend much money to get it repaired.
  6. Check your tyre pressures at least once a week. The bad pressures on your tyre can make the car consume fuel more. As the car bible online said,” If your tyre pressures are low, you will be increasing the rolling resistance of the tyre on the road and that will be robbing your fuel efficiency – your gas mileage will be down.” That means you should be sure that the tyre pressures are up to manufacturer recommended value.
  7. If your car has a roof rack (that’s efficient for travelling or vacation in the weekend), remember that it could affect your fuel economy. If you don’t use the roof rack, take it off. The empty roof rack could consume more energy to overcome the aerodinamyc drag to the car.
  8. It’s okay to maintain the car yourself when you know how to do it. You only need to buy the tools. But some particular tools are more expensive than the bill from the mechanic you pay. For this, only buy the regular tools that doesn’t cost you more that having the mechanic.
  9. Always spare your time to look under your car and please search for any fluid leaks. Most common failures of vehicles are caused by these fluid leaks . Yor car need all of the fluids. Once it leaks, the leaking part would fail at great expense.
  10. Wash the car regulary and in time. This will prevent the car from corrosion which is caused by dust and mud. Dust and mud could stay wet and stimulate corrosion. You don’t want this happen to your car just because you’re too lazy to wash it.

Aren’t those tips simple and easy to do? You only need a little love and care for your car and save your money! It’s the vehicle that takes you anywhere. Treat your car good.
