In earlier days most of the automotive used to be very noisy and creepy and sometimes only horse driven carriages were powered by gasoline or steam engines. Some of the countries even imposed bans on entry to the noisy autos because they frightened their horses.
In earlier days most of the automotive used to be very noisy and creepy and sometimes only horse driven carriages were powered by gasoline or steam engines. Some of the countries even imposed bans on entry to the noisy autos because they frightened their horses. At that stage of auto evolution we had not seen the consequences we would have to face in the times to come.
Many countries have evolved strategy today to develop the most advanced super silent and fuel efficient auto motives which are not only efficient but also improved in quality and performance.
Although there has been tremendous input of autos but now we have come to realise that the automotive are a mixed blessing. Traffic accidents are increasing steadily and large cities are choked to the brim and are plagued with traffic congestion. Worst of all perhaps is the air pollution caused due to the internal combustion engine.Every car engine burns hundreds gallons of fuels each year and pumps hundreds of pounds of Co and other gases into the air causing global warming effect. Some of these gases are harmful to the health and some wreak havoc with heart and respiratory system causing diseases.
One sure answer to the problem of air pollution is to build cars with zero emission levels or say battery operated but that could be a costly affair. Since building a clean car is easier said than done. So far progress has been quiet slow. Well they could use cars powered by steam or electricity. But the most important thing would be that could take years to develop such models.
Getting rid of pollution in life due to auto motives and factories and industries is one major issue. Our lives may have changed for the good due to industrial and automotive revolution but still drastic action needs to be taken if we are to reduce traffic accidents, traffic congestion and Ariel pollution. NO doubt wheels have brought better and more convenient transportation, yet they have also brought new and unforeseen problems.
