I’ve never seen Elvis Presley concert because he had died in 1977. But I will soon have a chance to watch it.
Last April I wrote about the fourth concert of Indonesian late singer Chrisye, entitled Eternal Song. That concert was not a tribute concert, but the fourth concert of Chrisye with hologram technology. Late Chrisye even sang a new song, he had never sung before when he was alive.
Now I hear about this spectacular news, that late Elvis Presley will hold a concert. Elvis Presley has sold one billion albums since 1954 is one of the greatest singers of all time. He still has many fans even had died in 1977, 35 years ago.
It is very encouraging news that the Oscar-winning film makers plan to bring the Elvis Presley concert by utilizing holographic technology.
Agreement to hold Presley’s concert was signed. This is a new and challenging ways to bring back the charm of Elvis Presley. The concert was also a chance for young people today to see Presley’s appearance on the stage.
DDMG Media Group and CORE project will produce Elvis Presley in concert, film, and other multiplatform production worldwide.
If Presley’s concert reaches a success, it will inspire entertainment companies to deliver pop stars who have died to hold virtual concerts.
Presley, who died in 1977, is a music icon with Michael Jackson caliber. His death makes young people today have never seen Presley’s appearance on the stage directly.
Since his name skyrocketed in 1954 through the song “Blue Suede Shoes” he has sold one billion albums and his songs continue to make money with a value exceeding singers who are still alive.

The holographic technology is really something. The first one I saw was Tupac and I’m sure it’s not the last. So those people that have never been to a Elvis concert will have a chance of being at one – well, close enough anyway.
