With each passing decade comes with different types of music.
In the 1930’s people were listening to Glen Miller, Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby and Gene Autry. The 1940’s brought about Nat King Cole, Artie Shaw and Frank Sinatra. In the 1950’s Elvis won the hearts of teenagers with Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes and many more hit.
In the 1960’s Motown (Founded by Berry Gordy Jr.) came about in Detroit with Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and several other R&B Groups. Then, in the 1970’s came the disco era with KC and the Sunshine Band, Donna Summer, The Bee Gees and many more. Along with these ALSO came in the 1970’s was Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, The Cars, David Bowie, Earth Wind and Fire and MANY more.
The 1980’s was a time of heavy metal and rap music. After that I think that music continued to changed drastically. I think that it is really something how 40-60 years ago music was basically about love and falling in love and now music has become singing about gangs, smoking drugs and having sex.
With that said it makes one wonder what ever happened over the years. The average person can embrace and appreciate change ESPECIALLY if change brings about “GOOD” things. However, when it comes to things like this I do not see any good in this.
Many days I feel like I was LITERALLY born too late because when I hear this type of music it really makes me sick to my stomach and rots my soul.

I stopped listening to music in the 90s. I enjoyed music from the 80s, just not heavy metal. I was born to late, too because my favorite singer of all time is Bing Crosby
