Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen – The Boss, has given us lots of sensational songs.

Born on 23rd September 1949 at Freehold, New Jersey – released his first album in 1973. But his second album, The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle in 1974 gave him the recognition. A year later in 1975- Springsteen released Born to Run to critical and popular success, and he was a bona fide rock star, nicknamed “The Boss”. The River, released in 1980 which gave him a huge success. His another major hit was Born In USA in 1984. His 2005 album, Devils & Dust earned five Grammy nominations, winning one for best solo rock performance.

One of my all time favourite Rockstars, still I feel charged up after listening his songs. Here’s a list of Top Five Springsteen songs (According to me) of all time. Enjoy!

Here’s The List:

5. Rosalita:  My tires were slashed and I almost crashed but the Lord had mercy

My machine she’s a dud, I’m stuck in the mud somewhere in the swamps of Jersey…

What a write. Remember these lines?

4. Darkness On The Edge Of Town: Another beautiful write by Springsteen. An Extremely emotional Song.

You can tell her that I’m easily found
Tell her there’s a spot out beneath Abram’s Bridge
And tell her there’s a darkness on the edge of town

Lovely lines!

3. Born To Run: This is a very well crafted song and I think this one is everyone’s favourite.

In the day we sweat it out on the streets of a runaway American dream
At night we ride through the mansions of glory in suicide machines…

2. The River: Very well written and sensitive song.

At night on them banks I’d lie awake
And pull her close just to feel each breath she’d take
Now those memories come back to haunt me
they haunt me like a curse…

  1. Thunder Road: This is the most popular of Bruce Springsteen song. This song is a classic. The images this song conjures up are so vivid that you almost think you lived them once. Just an amazing piece of work.  This is certainly the number one.

But when you get to the porch they’re gone
On the wind, so Mary climb in
Its a town full of losers
And I’m pulling out of here to win
.

I hope all of you liked this collection!
