My weekly article dedicated to artists, for the most part new, sometimes ones I feel need to be recognised.

Here is my third edition of my Artists of the Week series.  I know I have not written one in a few weeks, my apologies. Feel free to click on my pen name for the older editions!

However, this week I decided to change things up for you readers with how this is put together.

All Time Low

All Time Low is a band from Maryland. This quartet is signed with Hopeless Records.  They are classified as “Pop-Punk” technically.  All of the members are 20 years old, some soon to be 21. 

The members are:
Alexander William Gaskarth – vocals, guitar
Jack Bassam Barakat – lead guitar, backing vocals
Zachary Stephen Merrick – bass, backing vocals
Robert Rian Dawson – drums

Chase Coy

Chase writes about lost love, friends, life, moving away, long distance relationships.
His recordings were done in his basement, not in an actual studio.

You don’t always have to have a record deal and record in a bigtime studio to make a name in music.

We The Kings

We the Kings is an American pop/powerpop band from Florida. They are signed to the independent label S-Curve Records

Their first three albums were independently released. They were titled; Ivy, Friendship is a Touchy Subject, and Between the Ink and the Paper.

We The Kings have their own miniature webshow entitled: The King’s Carriage. Its a comedy show about their life on the tour bus.  These can be viewed on their myspace or youtube.

Hunter Thomsen – guitar, backup vocals
Drew Thomsen – bass
Danny Duncan – drums

Tokio Hotel

This band is made up of four members.  They are young, but definately full of talent. To most people they look pretty young, but the youngest member is 19 years old. Also, contrary to popular belief, they are are from Germany.

They have a couple number one hits in Germany, but are becoming fairly well known in the U.S.

The members are:
Bill Kaulitz- Lead vocals
Tom Kaulitz- Lead guitar
Georg Listing- Bass guitar
Gustav Shafer – Drums
