Designed to inform everyone about new and up and coming artists.
This article is my tribute to the new and up and coming artists. I will not stick to just one genre, such as rock, but I will open it up to all different types of music.
However, for this week’s edition most of the bands or artists are rock. At the end of the article I will include a video from my favorite artist of the week.
First up is the band Automatic Loveletter. If you are a fan of Paramore or Flyleaf, I am pretty sure you will like Automatic Loveletter. It’s always cool when “metal” bands have females as their lead singers. Who says guys are the only ones that can be punk?
Then there is Secondhand Serenade. This is a one man band, and that in itself is very unique. For those who are fans of The Rocket Summer, you should like Secondhand Serenade. John Vesely wrote all the songs on the, “A Twist in My Story” album. The song that is out on the radio now is, “Fall For You”.
If you have listened to a rock radio station lately, you have problably heard the peculiar lyrics from the song, “I Kissed a Girl” by Katy Perry. She is the next artist on my list. Another song out on radio stations is, “Hot N Cold” which is about a guy she is seeing and how he is so indecisive and he changes his mind just as often as a girl changes her clothes. My favorite song on her “One of the Boys,” album is the song called, “Fingerprints.” It is a song she wrote about not sitting on the sidelines anymore, but breaking the mold.
Next is the band Hidden in Plain View. I first heard them on a compilation album for the Warped Tour a few years ago. They were not one of my favorites at the time, until I heard their song, “Garden Statement.” If you read the lyrics they are raw and real, and at one point I felt they were writing about me (except for the gender of course).
Then, the final artist for this edition is the band Love She Wrote. There is not a whole lot I can say about them at this time, being I just discovered them myself. However, I listened to a song of theirs on YouTube. It was an acoustic version that the lead singer was singing alone, but he did a beautiful job singing the song.
Now, as I said in the beginning I would choose one artist and show you my favorite song from them. So here it is, enjoy!
The winner is Automatic Loveletter; and the video is Make up Smeared Eyes
Thanks to BeatufulxKitty for the use of the video.

Very complete in your submission. Lots of variety too with the use of video and documentation.
