The Josh Groban Phenomenon

Josh Groban is a superstar, a true legend in the making. With a million dollar voice and exquisite good looks, he is destined for a lot more than just fortune and fame. At just 28 years of age, he has achieved an enormous amount of success and record sales within the music industry. With his amazing ability to sing in different languages, four to be exact, he is not just multi-talented, but exists in a class of his own. I guess it comes as no surprise to hear that I have every cd and dvd that he has ever produced. I particularly like the songs sung in Spanish, Italian and French. This exotic blend of music adds to the amazing versatility his voice is able to deliver.

Seeing him live in concert is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced.His charm and wit together with his amazing vocal ability are both captivating and inspiring. It’s not difficult to see why his fan base reaches into the millions. His collaboration with Charlotte Church on “The Prayer” is one of the most beautiful duets ever produced. It not only gives me goosebumps, but is capable of driving me to tears with its brilliance and magic. It is so moving.

His Christmas album “Noel” is by far one of the best Christmas albums ever produced. Not only does Josh sing with a real reverence and sense of humility, but his voice showcases a style that is both captivating and unique. With his own version and style added to the Christmas favourites, it’s ease to see why this album has been such a hit around the globe.”Noel” spent 5 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard album chart, which broke the holiday album record previously held by Elvis Presley. This in itself is a major feat.

Groban’s recent collaboration with Ladysmith Black Mambazo on “Weeping” from his recent “Awake” album shows his versatility and willingness to explore different styles of music. Josh also has a passion for helping people in need. He established the Josh Groban Foundation during a trip to South Africa where he met the inspirational Nelson Mandela. Groban has also participated in many charity events including Live 8 and Tsunami  Aid: A Concert of Hope.

With so much talent and a heart of gold, Josh Groban is only destined for bigger and better things. I look forward to going to more concerts in the future and hope that he continues to soar to greater heights. As a very devoted and enchanted fan, I face the future with much optimism and anticipation.
