Winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song contest.
I was checking out popular video clips on You Tube and came across Alexander Rybak. The one I first saw was of him performing the song Fairytale at the end of the episode where he had just one the 2009 Eurovision song contest. There are several reasons why this performance just got to me. First, I love the fiddle. I think my Scottish side is showing there. Then when I listened to the words, I loved them. I wish that I had written them. They fit me perfectly when it comes to remembering past girlfriends and for my hopes for the perfect future girlfriend.
After checking and watching about 10 more video clips of him, I looked him up on the net and found that he wrote the song Fairytale and it is featured on his first album titled Fairytales. I have yet to find out if I will be able to get this CD here in the states. But I know for sure that I want it.
Alexander represented Norway at the contest and received the highest score ever in this contest.

I hope you can get the CD. I watched the contest and though I know Norway won, I can’t remember the song at all. I am just glad Britain didn’t come last this time.
