Classical Music is Not Dead

I saw a question asking “Is Classical Music Dead” and to me that’s an astoundingly ludicrous question.

With the beauty of Classical Music being discovered by new generations how can anyone conceivably think it’s dead? I love all kinds of music, I grew up taking choir classes and in choir we learned about classical music. Everything from Bach to Chopin, I love piano music although I am admittedly not the greatest musician.  The very notion of classical music being dead to me is outright ridiculous.

Classical music is as much a part of the world musical landscape as any other. Moreso even I would say. With musicians like Billy Joel carrying on the legacy of the greats I think classical music is alive and well. Dear readers are you a classical music fan? If so show your support.

If you are not a fan of classical music, that’s your choice, but don’t dare call it “dead”.     Calling classical music dead in fact is an insult to classical fans everywhere.   To the classical greats, may they each and All rest in peace. Also, may new generations of fans keep the spirit of classical music alive in the hearts of millions.

I thank you all for reading and God bless you all.
