singer Dave mustain had many problems he had alcoholic abuse and drug problems so he got fired off Metallica and took the metallica bassist  David Ellefson and they started megadeth.Dave as the singer and lead guitar wile David was bassist.From there they got there drummer Gar Samuelson they also got there temporary secondary guitarist Kerry king later that same year they replace Kerry with Chris polland.In 1984 they signed to combat records in 1985 they released there first album killing is my business.When they made there first album they had 8000 to make the album but half of that was used to buy drugs they didn’t have much to work with but, they made the album a success in sound it wasn’t excellent but it was good.In 1986 they released there album called peace sells but who’s buying that album earned them allot of reputation they were in the big four wich included metallica,anthrax,slayer,and megadeth.That year they signed to capitol records combat records sold peace sells to them.Well during a tour in Hawaii Chris polland and gar Samuelson got fired because some how the public thought the whole band where really into drugs but, later Dave found out that Chris and gar sold the bands equipment for there drug needs and they got fired.Later the band got  Chuck Behler on drums and Jeff Young on guitars.In 1988 the bad released the new album so far so good that album was a complete failure to capitol records Dave fired chuck and Jeff.They soon hired Marty Fredmend and Nick Meza. Marty on guitar and nick on drums.When those two joined the band was good they made allot of albums together. there fourth album rust in peace made in 1990 showed a advanced type of metal.In 1992 the band released count down to extinction. It became an instant hit, reached #2 on the Billboard album charts, and went multi-platinum: Mustaine himself said that he measured his future successes against those of Countdown. The album featured noticeably simpler song structures, catchy melodic “hooks,” and an increased emphasis on the singer’s voice. 

Megadeath was frustrated because they couldn’t be number1 on the charts because billy ray cir us achy braky heart and they had lost there Emmy nominee to nine inch nail.

In 1994 megadeth released the new album Youthanasia, it was a great success.

the next album they made was cryptic writing in 1997 and, in 1998 nick meza quit the band the band hired jimmy degraso.

mmegadeth wanted to end there contract with capital records so they went to sanctuary record in that time marty quit the band and was replaced by AL petret.

On April 2003 Dave mustain informed the new and media he was leaving the band because he suffered nerve damage to his left arm when that happened megadeth split up.

The doctor told Dave he could never play guitar again but later on his arm healed and he was able to play again his doctor was amazed.Since Dave recovered he called the band member he got Chris polland lead guitar,Vinnie Colaiuta on drums,jimmy lee sloase on bass.They together made the album the system has fail but, the album was leaked into the internet before the real release date.

Shortly following the release of The System Has Failed, Mustaine appointed Glen Drover, formerly of the King Diamond and Eidolon, as Megadeaths new guitarist. Additional line-up changes were James MacDonough, formerly of Iced Earth, on bass, and Shawn Drover (the brother of Glen Drover) on drums.

megadeth has recently made a new album called in game it was made 2009
