Today, I really feel that I miss the stage so much. Already stepped into the third month I did not perform again on stage. Really makes me sad. I am eager to bring back my favorite Jazz Standard Songs. But never mind, maybe someday I can go back up to the stage when the time is right
. By only listening to these songs again, has made me happy and forget the longing I felt. So, These are My Favorite Jazz Standard Songs :
1. Yardbird Suite – Charlie Parker
2. In Mellow Tone – Sarah Vaughan
3. All Of Me – Ella Fitzgerald
4. How High The Moon – Ella Fitzgerald
5. One Note Samba – Astrud Gilberto
6. That Old Feeling – Anita O’Day
7. The Lady Is a Tramp – Tony Bennet
8. I get a kick out of you – Ella Fitzgerald
9. Just Friends – Sarah Vaughan
10. Mack the Knife-Bobby Darin

Ella Fitsgerald – Charlie Parker etc etc. Love ‘em all. I’m a MASSIVE jazz fan. Great post, beautifully crafted. Thanks for the videos. LOVELY!

I had to come back for another listen. Charlie Parker was already dead by the time I got interested in Jazz, so I never saw him. But a saw a lot of the biggie’s in New York City’s Birdland. One night there Maynard Ferguson was playing. It was SRO and it was hot an smoky. After standing for a couple hours and looking up over peoples heads, I passed out. I did not know it but I had a Vagel nerve problem and looking up so long made my vagel nerve tell my heart to stop.
