After over two years, Rihanna has completed a whole album and is releasing it next month according to her twitter – she tweets:
“The wait is Ova. Nov 23 09″
Her last album, Good Girl Gone Bad, went multi platinum and had one of the biggest number one hit, Umbrella, in the UK since the 90s.
Fans are hoping that her new album will have some songs about her ex boyfriend Chris Brown who allegedly attacked her in February and faced 5 years probation from Rihanna.
Songs to be included to the album are, Te Amo, which was leaked a couple of months back on the internet but had a major good feedback.
Russian Roulette is her latest single to become a top ten hit in the USA and with a smashing video sneak peek out, surely you would want to know and hear the song.
Russian Roulette is a mixture of soul and R&B – Rihanna had decided to make songs which are most affective to her and she also said that she would go for a more “darker” album. She certainly did so – her image towards the song has changed a lot and the song talks about “You can see my heart beating, you can see it through my chest…so just pull the trigger”, the overall meaning seems to be that she does not want to live anymore, whether this is just the song or her really meaning it- we will not know but the video and the song is a must-watch as she is seen in the video in a prison talking to the police officer hitting the walls, screaming: “So just pull the trigger”
