Long overdue!

Eric B. and Rakim will forever be etched in history when they are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The duo recorded four groundbreaking albums while together before splitting up due to creative differences. Riding the wave of 80’s and early 90’s classics like “Microphone fiend,” “I ain’t no joke,” and “Eric B is president,” the group forever changed the way hip-hop artists delivered their rhymes. This is the first accolade for the group.
The duo joins a very talented class of inductees including: The Small Faces, Laura Nyro, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Joan Jett, War, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.
