What are you afraid of? No matter how far I do in life, no matter what I do, I find that my worst fear is always myself.
What are you afraid of? No matter how far I do in life, no matter what I do, I find that my worst fear is always myself.
If I am afraid of anything, it is because I have a hesitation or reservation within myself about something. When I could not dance, it was my fear of humiliation. So I learned not to care about what other people thought. When I could not swim, it was a fear of drowning that was preventing my ability to learn.
And sometimes I do not follow the steps to success because I am afraid I will succeed. Sometimes we are put down by the people around us so much that we begin to believe it ourselves. Such is the source of many an ego suffering from low self esteem. So we tend to get in our own way.
So how do we get back on track? Some people meditate. Some people do yoga. I personally go to a nearby beach alone and walk to clear my head. Many people pray. Whatever you normally do to collect your thoughts is what is recommended now. At a younger age, I carried a small photo album of people that care about me. It was a great ego picker upper.
The point is that once you fell better about yourself and your abilities, things will seem much easier. I always keep a list of several things that need to be done. This way, I do not freak out over just one task I do not particularly fell like working on that day. The variety and options truly help me get over myself. So the next time you cannot seem to get motivated, take time to stop and get over yourself.

This article is so sensible. We do get in our own way sometimes. It’s better to just take action rather than think, because you might just scare yourself out of accomplishing greatness.
