Lighter, more thoughtful.

Welcome, dear readers, to the second third of the seventeenth of my reviews of Kahvi Collective releases. Kahvi Collective is a netlabel that specializes in Ambient and IDM music.
The seventeenth release of Kahvi Collective, “Mists of Time”, by 4T Thieves, is a 3 track EP, and the first multi track Kahvi release. Kahvi’s site heralds it with “Our man from great britain strikes back with awesome 3 track oldskool ambient / experimental ep:”, Let’s dive in. (Download the EP here.)
This article reviews the second track of the EP, which works with the same skeleton as the first tune (reviewed here). More sweeping harmonies on this one than the first. While still pleasant to listen to, the more forceful sounds of the regular (call this the “diet” version?) seem to make it a bit better. Nonetheless, it’s all free, right?
