I know that this is going to really frustrate certain people who believe that one kind of music is special, while others are not. I used to think that this was true until I started getting into all sorts of music. One day I realized that classical music can have the same affect on me as heavy metal does. Those who know Yngwie Malmsteen might understand where I am coming from. I am not a Malmsteen fan but if you understand his roots, then you will see that one kind of music is intimately linked with other types. You simply can’t escape this fact and more people are opening their eyes and leaving the debates about which type of music is better than others. Join me if you will but join at your own peril because not everyone is going to agree with you if you believe this.
Music to some people is just like religion. Yes! They don’t want to change their religion because they believe that their beliefs are the only ones that matter. Why can’t we all get along? Probably because we are blinded to the fact that we are all somehow connected to each other, even musically! Hey! Take a look at Malmsteen because he is no ordinary heavy metal guitarist. I believe that Malmsteem could have become much more famous than he is actually is right now if he joined some rock band that are pumping out traditional stuff. In the world of heavy metal “traditional stuff” flows in a certain way – there is a pattern for it. Malmsteem has been trying to break this pattern for many years but a lot of people simply don’t understand. They don’t realize that there can be a marriage between classical music and heavy metal. Listen to Malmsteen playing because his guitar is more powerful than his mouth or his explanations of what he is trying to do. Most heavy metal fans who don’t really like classical music still go to see Malmsteen in concert because they probably revere him. Why? Just listen to him!
So you think that hip hop is something special, do you? Oh! Let me show you something that I created. Hip Hop has always been popular in India for thousands of years. Can’t you see these ladies dancing to the Hip Hop beat? Just because they are wearing different clothes does not mean that they don’t understand the beat. Of course they understand and you only have to open your mind a bit more to see what I am talking about. Yes! I produced the video!
What about the Salsa? Do you think that break dancers know nothing about it? Hey! Watch carefully my friend because it is very easy to slot these dudes into a Salsa scene. I produced this video to prove my point. Enjoy!
Oh, lets not forget heavy metal shall we? What about head banging? Surely the expert Salsa dancers are doing it all the time. Did you catch them? I made it very easy for you to recognize head banging roots in my video production
OK- Now for those of you who don’t understand Techno Rave it is simply because you have never been a little bit tipsy in your life and joined a whole bunch of people raving in one big family group. To be honest I believe that Techno Rave is a statement of youth but that could change in a hundred years time when Rave becomes part of a history lesson in ancient music types. What are the origins of Rave anyway? I leave that to your imagination.
REMIXING CAN BE FUN
Hey, I am not a musician but I managed to make my own Remix on a Youtube video. I think that it was quite well done. Don’t you?

I absolutely love music and many types of it. In some ways, I agree with what you are saying. Any type of music can influence the mood and other parts of life. Any type of music is also a form of art, just expressed in a variety of ways. These genres however, are also very different from each other at the same time.
