When I heard over the news that Akon (the Senegalese born Music Star) will be performing in a month’s time in my city, I was ecstatic and overjoyed. Sadly, my tight-fisted Papa wouldn’t hear anything of it as such, was forced to start saving for my entry fee earlier. I waited anxiously and the excitement of the much anticipated Music Festival was really overwhelming. The Music Festival dubbed “Tour-de-Africa” was going to feature local and international artists.
