This is a strike to the pop music industry because it isn’t fluffy, melodic or easy on the ears. It is not a potential backing for a perfume advert. At the same time as sending his message out loud and clear he is making the point that music should force you to think, music can have a purpose. This is brutal, it is tactless, it is uncomfortable and it is a slap in the face. So, a rating? On impact he has to get the full five stars, on mettle he deserves 6.
